Everything you need gold for which is most things are crazy expensive to do any gold you do buy will be gone in no time.  The energy system is also crazy and costs fifty gold to refill right away or you can wait an hour or so.  They give you the option to watch a video but they only let you do that a few times before they they cut you off.
