I was able to provide my medical history and describe the issue and send photos. I was assigned a Care Coordinator who managed messages and all aspects of my case; she was prompt, thorough and warm. A Dermatologist reviewed by case and contacted me in a timely fashion with a treatment plan, a prescription electronically sent to my pharmacy and an extensive message including his diagnosis, concerns and recommendations. I Googled him by name and discovered he is a highly trained Dermatologist who is very well regarded in his field, and his online reviews are stellar. We've probably all been frustrated by the wait time to see a Dermatologist, and by comparison this was practically instantaneous. I could not (and still cannot) believe I received such breadth and depth of professional service for $40. I even had follow-up messages with both the doctor and the coordinator. Beyond the cost is the true value of this app in providing qualified physicians and support staff who treat their patients with genuine concern. Frankly, I felt that the Spruce staff showed more interest in me and my case than the doctor I had seen. I recently moved to a new area and have no idea on any decent doctor practices around (nor do I have time to look because of my job) and my cystic acne has been continually getting worse and worse. I downloaded the app around 7:30pm, answered questions about my acne and products I've used (and took photos of the acne), and received a treatment plan with prescriptions sent to my pharmacy the following afternoon (~1pm)!! I half-expected this to be a scam (since they DO make you pay $40 for the \"visit\"), but it was BEYOND worth it! This app is the beginning to getting my acne under control and I am incredibly satisfied and couldn't be happier!! I am so excited this app exists! Just recently last year I had a horrible breakout to the point I hated going out on public. I was frustrated and stumbled upon this app when it was beginning and had a promo for the first free visit. The visit is easy, take a few photos and answer some questions. The doctor messages you a regime and the care team helps with any prescriptions prescribed. The first two weeks I saw a dramatic difference in my acne clearing. Fast forward a year later, I'm about 95% clear of acne, of course you'll get the occasional pimple but I have never felt more confident in my skin.
