However, giving the app 5 stars because of the developers, or at the least developer #4 who I suspect is the PR/customer interface person. Before I downloaded the app I read through a lot of the reviews and the person seemed to have taken the time to response to a lot of them. Even more importantly is that is evident from subsequent reviews as well as the game itself that the developers actually hear concerns and respond to them (i.e. in one review someone complained about not being able to see both screens, and I was disheartened by this before downloading ad I could see that being an issue for myself as well, but then I see after a similar review down the list that the developers have heard the issue and added the landscape mode feature to the game and gave the reviewer instructions on how to find it). What I appreciated most however is that the one star review that is near the top of the list by some Karen complaining about inappropriate ads and refusing to actually be helpful in solving the issue when requested of them (the reviewer), that the developer didn’t take it lying down. They were respectful, but also made sure that the reviewer and anyone reading it would know that they were being completely open and transparent. Plus I definitely laughed out loud when the first time I opened the app the little message on the loading screen said “have you seen any inappropriate ads? Send us a screenshot”. I would quit the game/app after the game was over and looked at the opponents map to learn how players were setting up .. I’d quit then because the ads that auto play. Restart the game and play another round. \n\nThird: after ending up with most dishonorable it would be almost impossible to match with another player for a game. I deleted the profile then restarted another. This time I did the same as far as playing but I didn’t quit the game after viewing the maps I would let the ads play then get into another game. Now I’m “Most Honorable” status. \n\nSo it looks like you will get penalized as if you left during the game without surrendering even though you finished the game and only quit before the ads play. I get the ads in a free playing game and agree with paying to remove ads if that is what you want. The developers deserve revenue for their work.
