I fell into this lease out of convenience and Robert took me out with a bunch of keys.  As we walked across the lot to the car I told Robert I’m just looking to pay x amount for a lease.  Color, style, etc. the first that was unlocked closest to us we got in.  Robert was awesome and so was the gentleman he set me up with.  He did all the hard work with getting the lease done…. I’m sorry for not remembering 🤔 maybe Mark?…anyhow, I digress… I took the keys and it didn’t hit me until I drove it a couple hundred miles.  I’ve driven my brothers Tesla model s and until now, I never thought how convenient it would be to have that much power behind the wheel and used only when needed.  I’m pretty sure it can compete, if not beat, Tesla in a race.  “I usually just drive it in eco with full regen breaking”. \nIt’s stylish, it’s super easy to fast charge when needed. *You have enough range to just go home and check if the charge station is opened.  No stress, 300 plus miles @ 100%!!*, the comfort 👌❤️❤️.  Thanks hyundai, for getting me in my first fully electric and first lease. Sure they give you three years free blue link with the purchase of a new car, but Chevy and other makers give you the basic level service for free weights let you lock your doors, start your car even after you’re free service is over.  On top of that, there’s a fatal flaw in Hyundai’s design, and they let you sit things like to turn your heated seats on for part of your precepts, but then when you push it half the time it doesn’t work because your doors aren’t locked and that’s not one of the things you can pick as an option to add to your presets. Nobody wants to have to go to their app lock their doors through the app and wait a minute for it to happen and then hit the start car after that. That’s makes no sense, and require somebody to stay in their app for 3 to 4 minutes just to get confirmation that the first step took place and then you have to start the second stop and wait for a confirmation for that. That’s ridiculous. I bought an Ioniq a couple months ago and from the get go BlueLink would not work properly for me. Car could start via the app but climate control would never turn on with the car (kind of defeats the purpose of a remote starter if you can’t turn on the heat/AC don’t you think?). They told me an “engineer is assigned to you and will fix the issue. You should hear back from us soon.” \n\nIt’s been over two months and haven’t received one call from them. I’ve called twice since then and each time they’re unable to give me any updates nor were they able to go into detail what the heck these engineers are exactly doing to try and fix this issue. I asked if I needed to bring in my car to get looked at and see if it’s a hardware or software issue and they said no. What?! How else are you going to deduce what needs fixing if you don’t look at the car? When asked if this was a common issue with other Hyundai cars I was told yes it is. I followed up and asked if they’ve successfully fixed this issue with any other customers I got silence and a bunch of not sure-isms.\n\n I just reached out to the dealership I bought the car at and gave them an update to the situation and when they looked into it for me apparently they closed my ticket and marked it as resolved. The problem was never fixed! To say I’m disappointed in Hyundai and BlueLink is a serious understatement.
