I’ve never played the console versions, but I know a little bit about them and this game has incorporated some of those characters well. And the missions are fun! I’ve spent hours trying to figure out the best ways to assassinate and tail the targets while not drawing too much attention to myself. Something that helps me with that are the tutorials. They’re quick, but they help you learn how to interact with certain things and give you new skills to use that help you level up to go on the next mission. Speaking of, I’ve never really cared about leveling up my characters gear and skills, but in this game I have enjoyed it! It really helps me feel like a true assassin. Then there’s the missing part, no cutscenes! The most you get is just a wide shot of the city before you start the mission and a paragraph when you’re leaving and reentering the Animus. I would even mind having dated looking graphics, I just need something to transition from the mission to the Animus better. I feel like it would really add to the flow of the story! But overall, I really do like this game! It is also fun collecting all the info on the buildings and enemies. Also, collecting new items and powers (like sticky bombs) for my assassin is fun. It is so fluid and feels natural climbing the rooftops and sneaking up on enemies. The cons: They devs need to fix the terrible forging system. I always get stuck with an item with a lower item level then the one I used to forge it and I never have enough credits to reforge the items. The game is 1.99 and has lots of in-app purchases. I understand that the developers need to make some money, but I don’t think they should sell levels. Also, the campaign mode is way too short. They need to add more levels instead of paying 2 dollars for a couple of extra levels. Please add more campaign (with no in app purchases). I think they can get money in other ways.
