Many times it states error and no reward is given. Hope you can get it to work. I agree with the previous comments. The upgrades were great and wanted to keep up but that was a bad choice. I cannot justify nor afford to spend money to keep up. Like other comments the time is now very long. The walls are so expensive and can’t even get enough gold to make a dent to get it better. Have stopped progressing to next level and am trying to get all things completed before moving on. The expense of upgrading traps and mines then causes the attack damage to be so expensive in addition to loosing a lot of gold and grog during an attack. The attacks on those not doing as well are relentless and hardly allow one to upgrade. Because I am careful with gems am doing ok. I have accumulated a tremendous amount of BP and 4 million some EP points - with no way to spend them. As suggested to allow other commodities to help upgrade and not just gold or grog there could be a barter system to ie convert EP points to gold or grog to get upgrades. It gets 2 stars because the game itself is kinda cool. The graphics are really good & the play style is great for kids or even adults to pass time, kinda like a cartoon pirate Sim City. BUT no kid will ever, Ever play this game for more than maybe a day or 2 because the parents would eventually have to pay $hundreds & $hundreds to progress past even the first map & sets of required structures/upgrades. No child anywhere on earth, or any adult for that matter, will ever have the patience to wait out the multiple hour long sail times to uncover only 1-3 tiles or the day or three day time it can take to build a hut or upgrade something. The cost to build or fast forward time is so crazy you would have to spend an entire paycheck on gems to get it done over the whole games course. Builders huts require so many gems to build (goes from less than 100 gems to 1,000 by only the third one) you will never save enough given in game. But they’re required since you can only build one building per builders hut, so yeah pay for gems or never build anything faster than a dead sloths pace... which isn’t to far from normal pace anyway but at least you can technically build multiple structures. I only post a review for games I try that are so insanely expensive or vastly time consuming it’s actually impossible to play without making it a part of a routine. It’s a cartoon pirate game that cost 1/3 a years salary to progress at a normal rate or 1/3 years time of opening/closing the game waiting...
