I can’t play games for long periods of time on touch screen mode so I use a controller whenever I can for my hand’s sake. Unfortunately, in the current state of this game, playing with a controller is kind of a hassle. I can’t reload my gun with any of the controller buttons so I constantly had to reload in my fight because I had to empty the magazine entirely. Aiming is the same as shooting, I can’t aim before engaging in battle so I have to shoot if I want to aim. During visual novel type dialogues, I couldn’t continue the next dialogue with any of the controller’s button. It wasn’t until I hit the “Auto” button on the corner with my finger that I was able to continue the dialogue. Then I would go back to the controller only to realize that the only way to continue the dialogue was by hitting the “Auto” button. Also, in visual novel dialogue and cutscenes alike, there would be a constant ticking sound that was very annoying and would get me out of the immersion. For what I’ve seen so far, this game on PC runs pretty good on launch. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for me in my IPad. I would love to continue playing this game since I’m a huge fan of Warframe, but if I can’t play smoothly with my controller, then I won’t be able to play for long.
