There is a momentary delay which means the original speech mingles with the amplified speech and I can not understand anything.   There are occasions when someone soft spoken is talking across the room where it would help, but I do not think I could manage to use it only for those times.  The first hearing aid app I used did not have this issue, but it was not on an iPad and the delay may be related to IPad software.
