Out of the 3-4 other ones I’ve tried out over the years it’s the most customizable as far as parameters and settings, you can also make custom lens profiles for quick access to locked settings, which I haven’t found in any others. It also has two different UI’s, One gives you a good bit more information like your hyperfocal distance and near focusing distance and the EV of the scene as well as being able to fine-tune and set limits on your shutter speeds and apertures. Most of all the accuracy of the meter is surprisingly good and you can evaluate a whole scene or take spot readings by tapping the area you want metered on the screen in pro mode. I have also compared with my 5d mkii meter and gotten comparable results. If you do notice it leaning more over or under exposed there is 1/3 stop Increment's of compensation +\\- you can adjust in the settings. I still shoot negative film, and all my cameras are over 50 years old. Many do not even have meters built into them. Since my old cameras have been recently serviced, I know the actual shutter speeds.
