I couldn&#39;t wait for good weather to go out and try it, so my granddaughter and I bounced around the living room with it, and it worked great!  Today, I gave it a challenge by trying it out on the elliptical.  Since the elliptical is so low impact, I didn&#39;t know if there would be enough up and down to register.   I don&#39;t have an armband, so I just tucked my iPhone into my waist band.  It had no problem.  What a different this app makes for an exercise experience.  \nI don&#39;t even normally like the elliptical.  It bores me silly.  Part of the problem has been the problem of music tempo.  I like to start slow so my muscles don&#39;t get all annoyed, then speed up to a faster tempo, then when I&#39;m good and warm all over, I&#39;ll speed up again, and of course, slow down for the cool down.  And I have to have music to motivate me to do it at all, but going against the tempo even part of the time is energy draining.  So most of the time I don&#39;t use the elliptical at all, or I&#39;ll do 10 minutes, maybe 20, and that&#39;s all I can take.  Well--------enter Trailmix--------and I can hardly believe it, but today, I did 30 minutes, plus the 5 minute cool down, and I even enjoyed it!  The tempo stayed with me the whole time, so it felt right---the music was working with me, not just doing it&#39;s own thing while I did mine. Challenge in Boston then realizing I have not run in over a year started freaking out! Thankfully my good friend Mary recommended Trail Mix to me to speed along the training. Truthfully I have only used it a handful of times because I am a cyclist so I keep putting off running. However I am about a week and a half before my 5k and find that running with Trail Mix is the best thing ever. It keeps my running at a steady pace because the music adjusts to my running seamlessly. My biggest complaint is that my dog isn&#39;t cooperating more but I think maybe next time I&#39;ll just run without him, unless you have a doggie version for the furry friends that is?\n\nGreat
