I don’t have to rely on slow snail mail, phone calls messages that may be relayed incorrectly, nor miscommunication. I can send messages as needed without delay. This has been a GodSend to my health. One complaint, however, is having to battle whether or not I can see billing Information for all my family members. I know when I have a physician using MyChart, I have quality care. Those physician groups using Healow are greatly lacking flexibility and transparency. I have nothing good to say about the Healow app, MyChart competitor. It’s clunky and severely lacking in features that allow ease of communication to my medical staff. Often, Healow admin assistants end up supplying emails to the patient in order to pass medical records because of Healow’s inaccessibility. In that manner, not all communications are recorded in one place like MyChart. I’ve been enduring unbelievable pain and exhaustion since before 2020 and every additional step required for communication is exhausting. MyChart helps minimize the aggravations. MyChart allows all of my medical practitioners to see my complicated medical history with the right app permissions. Much less can be said of my practitioners using Healow; they are all blind to the records which cannot be shared amongst Healow users. I remember the days before MHO! Now, no more calling the doctors’ office and waiting by the phone, put on hold and the phone drops, or calling the wrong department altogether and after all that, only to talk with someone and forgot the outcome of an undocumented conversation. MHO have everything in one place, communications with your care team is quick and secure, documented, even phone encounters gets documented. Now, I can take the time to write down my non-emergency medical questions to my care team and they can decide if it’s something I need to go in person for. Records that I need for all administrative stuff e.g., kids school etc. are all accessible via MHO. I can keep track of my annual visits, review visit notes and follow-up with questions if needed, pay bills through MHO, request medication refills, scheduling appointments, etc. There’s just so much great thing about MHO that I cannot fit everything good about it in this review space!!  Another note, we like to thank our care team and sends a follow-up thank you note without it that becoming an administrative burden to the care team! And I wonder if there’s a way to thank the care team via a button without bombarding them with more administrative burden; a “thank you” message that they don’t have to open by a certain deadline or ever! It asks for drug reactions  medications whose names I don’t recognize at all but may be another version of something I have taken. The menu names are a bit vague and disorganized from my point of view,. I just paid $45 and it says I owe $45 Very hard to tell what visit whether I just paid for it already.  Information can be inaccurate but I am very limited in my ability to fix it and it often changes it’s usually never fully correct which concerns me. It seems a different doctors add to the mix and are unaware of certain medication‘s. Today for instance it said I was taking both the fast acting and the slow acting version of a medication, when I’m only taking one of them. Hard and confusing and now inconsistent to print out some reports from Phone   It seems like the format keeps getting redesigned so I often spend time looking for things that I used to be able to find. A lot of the links that explain the medication’s or procedures lead nowhere. It’s definitely helpful to have all information in one place, but inconsistencies at all levels and dimensions could be dangerous. Every time I look, I  find something not quite right sometimes unlikely to be a problem other times it could be. I do like getting test results.
