The first ride reached my house. I went outside. I went into the taxi. He told me the meter was not working and told me to wait. I waited 10 minutes in that car. The second rider was extremely rude and seemed like he wanted to attack me. Because I said this was horrible service. You may be asking why it was a horrible service on the second ride he proceeded to suggest that he should drop me on the side of my location. I had to walk two blocks. Crossing two streets main streets. until I reached the building, I was trying to get to because one road was closed even though we could’ve took the second road they lead to the same building and then he proceeded to overcharge me an extra six aed so I ended up with three rides. I paid a lot of money because of their unintelligence. I booked a ride to a specific destination, entered the address clearly into the app, and everything seemed normal at first. However, the driver completely messed up and went to a completely different location.\n\nWhen I realized we were headed the wrong way, I informed him immediately. He admitted the mistake, apologized, and then took me to the correct address—but here’s the catch: I was charged extra because of his error.\n\nYou’d think this would be an easy fix. I reached out to Zed’s customer service, expecting some accountability or at least a refund for the additional fare. But instead, I got nothing but indifference and generic responses. They refused to refund the extra charges, basically blaming me for their driver’s mistake. No apology, no compensation, not even a gesture of goodwill.\n\nThe whole experience made it clear that Zed doesn’t care about their users or take responsibility for errors caused by their own system or drivers. This was not just inconvenient—it was unprofessional and completely unfair.\n\nI’ve deleted the app and will be warning friends and family to avoid it. There are far better ride-hailing services out there with competent drivers and customer service that actually cares.
