The closest competition, Nike Run Club, doesn’t have as good of an Apple Watch integration. And while their plans can lean on the heavy side, you’re able to adjust the intensity of your plans up or down accordingly.\n\nSo far, the app does an excellent job of generating workouts and sending them to the Apple Watch. In fact, this is my favorite implementation of smart watch workout guidance of any app except maybe Runna. By using the built in Apple workouts API, it takes advantage of all the things Apple is good at. It’s clean, reliable, and easy to use. Unlike apps like Nike Run Club. However, my experience turns there. While the total time, distance, and some HR data make it to the app, the splits do not. Which, essentially makes the analysis feature useless because it averages in my warm up and cool downs. I hope that once this is fixed, it’ll be a 5-star experience!
