The color of the gems correlate with how much damage you deal, and you choose your characters you want to play with for each level, each having their own abilities, and capability to level them up and change their equipped items, making them stronger over time and unique! It’s awesome being able to choose your own characters to use each level. There are multiple game modes, like the main story but also side games, which is a nice variety compared to just a single story mode. The daily/weekly achievements and passive resources generator to give you free resources and items is nice. Also, the store has some freebies, huge plus, even if you decide to spend money, which is worth it too. Can be a little slow to promote your characters to having more stars, but I’ve accepted it as part of the daily grind. The only thing I would change and have heard of people having an issue with is that the “promoting” process could use some sort of explaining, you figure it out but could use some directions. Right now, when I get stuck in a level I just have to wait for will to restock my items which could take hours. If we could go back and redo levels for some items, I think it would make the game much better. \n\nAnother way - I think losing should still give you some items. Right now when you lose, you get nothing and just are forced to try again. However, when I get stuck on a level I usually have to redo that level multiple times until I get lucky and manage to win. Obviously I don’t think you should get the same amount of items if you lose or win, but losing should at least give you some stuff. \n\nFinally - I think that the levels of our characters compared to the enemies’ characters needs to be fixed. Fighting a battle with all level 30 characters against enemies with level 25 is still very challenging. However now that I'm at chapter 6 with characters at level 100+, the progression is PAINFULLY slow. It's just become boring. \n\nAlso the game table idea to keep all your characters at the same level, while a nice idea in theory, really doesn't work well once your main characters become maxed out for their star progress if others start progressing beyond them. If all your mains are 3 stars and reach level 100, then some others make it to 3.5 stars (which has a max level of 120), then you have to remove the 3.5 star one from the table, thus resetting his level to 0 and level him back all the way up to 101 manually so he can then become a main. That's so inefficient. You should just be able to place whichever characters you want as mains any time - it shouldn't be automatic.\n\nThere also needs to be a way to acquire higher star characters more frequently or some other way to keep the pace of progression up at higher levels. The main reason I play is for the campaign, so if I can't progress through that because I can no longer level up my characters, then I'm going to get bored (which is what has happened) and stop
