While reading other reviews and comments and I understood I was not alone in this and it seems this is something how they practice their business.\n\nThere were no issues with the app, choosing and accessing the scooter or the ride itself so everything seemed fine after I finished my ride. I had no clue what kind of issues and aftermath I’ll be facing. Turns out the next day I received an email with a bill for the damage I have caused for the scooter. The images attached showed a scooter with visible accident marks, as if it was dropped or experience a fall during a ride. Since I had a passenger with me it was impossible it had happened during my ride. Also I didn’t recall picking up a scooter in such a shape and condition. But all of that was not enough to prove I was not guilty. My mistake was not taking pictures of my scooter before the ride for “just in case” as my alibi. The damage listed in the bill was serious and should have occured after a serious incident. Also the app, ride history and receipt doesn’t show the licence plate number of your scooter, so unless I memorized it, I couldn’t even be sure whether the scooter I receieved in the images in my email is the same I drove. \n\nAt the end of the season I was automatically charged 60€ for the repair costs and there was nothing I could do about it. Also you get charged that 1€ card fee plus the extra 1.99€ that wasn’t mentioned anywhere.
