Straightforward, simple, no jargon just banking made easy to understand. I like I can add a savings under the main account, I can get my debit card and earn interest on my savings. No money gets put on hold for 24hrs like one of the big 4 banks do if you’re using PayID to send to a new payee, money is sent using Osko and sent and received immediately. The security features are second to none. You also get a shared account option so if you wanted to add your daughter or family member or just a friend you can both have a shared account. What I really like though and appreciate that UBank doesn’t do this unlike the other big banks is They do NOT put banking into maintenance mode on the weekends which has always been a huge issue for me with one of the big banks that also holds funds for 24hrs and when they do have to do maintenance it’s generally only a few hours. UBank should be considered for a banking platinum award. Thank goodness for UBank. If you don’t have an account with them, it’s free you join online and it only takes a few minutes to sign up. An actual bank that thinks like people and don’t treat their customers as nothing more than a number. Valued, a bank that has finally seen me. I don’t typically feel comfortable using my biometrics for anything so I’m therefore only left to use my phones password with UBank. I feel that when it comes to banking you should be fully comfortable and feel safe but because I don’t want to set up biometrics I’m forced to use my passkey instead. I would consider this extremely unsafe as that would mean anyone you’ve given your phones password to (such as your kids, partner, friends ect) all have access into your bank, which can possibly be without your knowledge and can see and transfer your money. I could even pose a scenario where you unlock your phone in public and someone sees your passkey, they later then steal your phone - now with your passkey they have access to your bank account too. Again, I’m morally against using my biometrics for personal reasons but don’t like that I only have one other option. I think it would be a good addition to the app, to be able to set up our own unique passwords to help keep our finances safe, private and comfortable to
