It is stylish, and the complications and widgets across all devices are both good looking and informative, making it easy to keep track of what’s going on while you’re in transit.\n\nThe flight tracking data on the 20ish flights I have taken has been spot on, often updating me before the departure boards or the airline report what is going on. I sat for nearly an hour on the tarmac three weeks ago knowing full well the flight was going to be cancelled while the pilot and staff were still telling everyone we were simply delayed, but the app knew. I already had a replacement flight sorted and was out of there rapidly on the last seat on the last flight of the day while everyone around me was stuck with the prospect of overnight stays and delays.\n\nI had a couple of questions around getting my flight data and history migrated—the team were super responsive to emails, and have made changes to the app in a short space of time off the back of customer feedback and suggestions. That is a big win for me.\n\nI have taken a Lifetime subscription. Sadly no gate numbers ever displayed, even after boarding the plane. None of the ‘inbound flight info’ was available either- mainly why I got it. My flights were in Europe, but if this only really works with US flights it should not be available anywhere else. It’s a real shame as the potential for this app is very good. The layout and build is excellent. The lockecreen info etc are fantastic… but for me contained nothing but blank fields. It was accurate about landing times etc and did show a rescheduled take off time well before I was informed by email. So, potential to be an essential app for travellers, just needs to work on getting the gate and other info into the app. Would be 5* if so, sadly I am deleting and cancelling weekly subscription. Also, VERY expensive. No free trial to see if it works have lost another * as I feel I have been ripped off to even see if it worked as promised! It didn’t: so in the bin it goes. UI is good and when flights are running on time, it’s useful especially because it tells you gate and baggage belt info. But as soon as flights start getting delayed, it becomes completely useless. \n\nAs a frequent traveller, on every single occasion when I have encountered a flight delay, the app has either taken sometimes 1-2 hours to update information or simply refuses to update it. \n\nAs I’m writing this review, I was meant to be on a flight from Istanbul to London. Firstly, it didn’t pick up that the inbound flight never took off - had it picked that up I would have never needed to go to the airport to waste time. Then it didn’t pick up that the flight is delayed - airline app started saying flight will be delayed from 5pm, flighty picked up this information 3 hours later than that!! Then after the flight got cancelled at 9.45pm, it has now been 2 hours since then and flighty still has not realised that flight is cancelled!!
