You should be able to let an ad play, then click it off and continue playing without shutting down your computer. If the intent of the game developer is to entice you to download their game, I’ll never download a game that causes me to shut down my computer in order to be able to return to my original game. However half of the time the game completely freezes and you have to exit the game completely and reboot and the other half of the time if you complete one of the mini packs (whether it’s a pack you’ve paid for with coins you’ve earned and got added to your coin bank, or a free pack that was just added to your minis list) I don’t receive the reward listed upon completion. I’ve finished more than half a dozen packs with the “prize” clearly shown at the start of the 10, 12 or 15 mini puzzle packs and got nothing in return (I’ve finished packs with rewards ranging from 15 up to one pack that I paid for that had 50 coins upon completion) I’ve sent notices to their email support, I get an email verifying they have my complaint and that they will work on and fix the problem. Then 2-3 days later I get an app update but nothing actually gets fixed. I actually really do like the app, I like the wide variety of crossword puzzles to choose from, and that they offer daily puzzles and daily minis for free. I’m hesitant to just delete it out of frustration because I do like the concept that much.
