But I came across this game being mentioned in a forum post (while looking for suggestions for actual free-to-play romance games) and decided to try it. I loved the game instantly, from the great art, the magical and believable fictional world, and the awesome and realistic characters and the outfits that they wear! I always enjoyed the tarot anyway, and it was a joy to see a story that involved it so much. Everyone’s character arcs are so intertwined, so you HAVE to romance more than one character to see more and more of the central story. The music in the main menu is gorgeous. The two things that I would suggest is that the coin cost for some of the optional dialogue or actions is a little too steep in some parts of the characters’ stories. If you want to avoid buying coins, it’ll take a week or more to save up 175+ coins for that choice. There were a few choices that were quite low (50 or so) that I thought were perfect. The second is that while I like that keys for chapters regenerate on their own without having to buy any, each key regenerates after three hours. I love this game and I have to wait 9 hours so I can play some more! If the timer was 2 or even 1 hour that would be far better. I was absolutely shocked to find that coins are easily collectible (through ads, daily rewards, or by spinning a wheel) and premium choices are accessible without spending a dime. I’ve never found a game like that and it made me so happy.\nBut let’s talk about the actual gameplay. The overall plot is truly amazing, it draws you in and makes you want to keep playing to see what happens. I really love how you can go down every path with each character and experience the story in different ways. You don’t know absolutely everything until all the stories are finished, and that is so refreshing and keeps me coming back.\nOh, and these CHARACTERS! They’re so magnetic, unforgettable, and so easy to fall for. Even the background characters are unique and enjoyable. The premium choices are so worth saving up a few coins for, as well.\nI really appreciate the side stories, too. After you finish the main plot, you’d think the game is over and you’ve done everything, but then you find a lovely collection of side stories where you can see more of the characters you love. For the next month or so, at least, it’s all you’ll think about. “Oh have my keys regenerated?” “Time for heart hunter!” and “I can’t wait for the next book to come out!” will be frequent thoughts. The diversity of the characters, their dialogue, and personalities are amazing. Even though they’re fictional, it’s easy to fall in love with one or more of them. The inclusivity of everything is to die for. The plot is really good at incorporating romance as well as developing an adventure. I absolutely adore the soundtrack. There’s only a few complaints that I have, and seemingly enough others as well. The paid scenes- way too expensive. The price either needs to be knocked down or coins need to be able to be acquired easier in game. The time needed for keys to regenerate should be less. Waiting three hours for one key??? It’s a bit infuriating to be honest. My last “complaint” is more of a concern. I hope the devs aren’t rushing or overworking themselves to release new books, most of the fan base would rather wait a little longer than having a thrown together chapter. :) Personally, those are the only areas I feel that need improvement. The art style is gorgeous and I really enjoy learning about Tarot cards as well as magic.
