Which means you can buy/sell and you can kiss that price goodbye if it’s a volatile stock. I’ve missed a really good selling opportunity and had to wait the whole day to get it back at the price. Was really frustrating. \n\nQuestrade please fix these bugs in the app. I should be able to refresh the stock price at every second and it should not cause it to freeze. I'm usually a calm and charitable guy.  No longer.\n\nTrading is impossible with this app.  It logs you out every couple of minutes.  And if it doesn't, you will get an effing spinning circle every time you want to look at something new.  I have missed entries and exits by minutes because of this bloody app.  Want to create a bracket order?  Nope, that functionality doesn't exist.  See something in your portfolio you want to sell?  Good luck: you have to navigate to a DIFFERENT list (orders) to remove your stops first, then navigate BACK to your portfolio list to sell, which opens another window before you can complete the trade.  Takes easily 30-60 seconds, if it doesn't log you out first (which it will).  Charts are unreadable (don't know why they even bothered).  L2 data that you're paying Questrade for?  Not on this app.  Logging into questrade on your phone's browser is actually quicker and better, but still sucks. Want up-to-date balance information?  Nope: you will see three different numbers if you compare the app, their website and their IQ Edge desktop software.  God knows which one is accurate.  Want push alerts for entries or exits?  Jeez, why would you want that???\n\nConsidering the fact that Questrade has made thousands off of me alone over the last 3 months in commissions, they really have no excuse for this bs app. And no, not all trading apps are like this.  Charting on thinkorswim app is great. Trading options using IB is fantastic.  If I could give negative stars, I would. I’ve had it. Some updates have improved some functionality, but in reality, an app actually needs to load to be functional.\n\nI’ll give credit where credit is due. \n\nWant to view your open positions? Sure, that’ll usually load after 10-20s. \n\nWant to view your account balances? Sure, this loads most of the time, but you’ll have to watch a loading screen for at least 10s. \n\nWant to look over your watchlists? Sure, this usually loads after 20s, but isn’t sortable. Not even alphabetically by symbol. \n\nNow I’ll get to the title of this review. \n\nWant to trade with your phone? Look somewhere else or call Questrade’s trade desk instead and pay the fee. The buy/sell functionality works about 10-20% of the time, and the other 80-90% of the time, you’ll get to stare at a loading screen. \nFor example, I tried to load up the buy/sell screen, which appears to load for 1 minute, then kicks you back to the previous screen. This went on for 15 minutes until I gave up. This differs from other days, where I usually give up after 5 minutes of trying to buy/sell something.\n\nWant to place a bracket order since the app is unreliable? Nope. Functionality isn’t available yet.\n\nWant to view charts? Maybe on a good day. Will work 40% of the time. Did your charts load? Great! Want to refresh them after loading for 1-5 min? After tapping the update/refresh button without anything happening for 1m, be prepared to go back to the previous screen and wait another 1-5 minutes for the chart to load!\n\nWant to view open or executed orders? Good luck. Works 10% of the time. \n\nWant to modify an open order? Yeah right. If you’re lucky enough to load the Open Orders screen after a solid couple of minutes, you’ll have to wait another minute or two for the buy/sell screen to load. Oh right, the buy/sell screen only wants to load 10-20% of the time. So, being generous, this works [calculating...] 2% of the time.\n\nI’m probably being too generous with the %’s and loading times as well. When waiting 1 minute for something to load on a phone in 2019, it feels MUCH longer. But I try to be as accurate as possible. \n\nTo sum up my experience with this app, it works the same on fast WiFi, LTE, 3G, or out in the middle of nowhere where you have 1 bar of EDGE (slower than 3G). I’m not saying this app actually works on 3G or slower (I give up after 10 min of trying to load anything), just be prepared to only see a loading screen. And when it does work, the loading times are too long for the app to be usable. \n\nThis app experience reminds me of having dial-up. Seriously. It’s like the devs thought it was great when images loaded line-by-line over a few minutes, only you don’t get to see or use anything until it’s fully loaded (if it loads at
