You have to be patient for some diamonds, but there aren’t many lasting consequences if you aren’t able to spend them right away; however you might miss out on some deeper romance and bonding opportunities with some of the characters. I’m deeply in love with the artwork; it maintains it’s quality throughout the books and I appreciate the consistency. The writing is perfect, not as ‘cringey’ as Episode, IF you find a cringey moment in these stories at all. I struggle to find something I can complain about. Y’all are doing a lovely job here.\n—\nThe only issue I have is with getting diamonds when it comes to this one certain ad, “My Cafe”. I watch the whole ad, sit there for like a minute after it’s played and then I click the X (as it doesn’t exit on it’s own) and it’ll say “you clicked out of the ad early! Please try again” or something and I don’t get my reward. I don’t mind watching ads but when that one constantly repeats as my only option to watch, and it’s bugged not to work, I can’t progress to get the rest of my rewards. I’m stuck on the second diamond reward cause I can’t get past this ad, so that means I’ll have to wait another day to get my diamonds. The other ads are fine, but this one doesn’t want to work! However, this app is worth 5 stars for one reason and one reason only: Bloodbound. What a masterpiece and a real gem that cuts through the noise of mediocre storytelling that is all too often found on choice-based apps like these. It’s vampire fiction done right, not even remotely resembling the mindless ‘Twilight-esque’ drivel that should not even exist. BB is beautifully written and executed with a compelling plot (despite a couple plot-holes throughout that can easily be forgiven), well-crafted lore, and fascinating characters. I am extremely picky with what I read, and I couldn’t have been more impressed. So many of the ‘teehee, I’m in high school/college, which love interest should I choose?’ type of stories are beyond tiresome to me, and BB was truly a breath of fresh air. I must of course echo other reviewers in terms of the diamond situation - the price of them is absurd, and Pixelberry knows it. It would do the company a service to lower the price even just slightly. The silver lining though is that on many of the books (and most certainly BB) the premium choices aren’t skimpy or lackluster, and really enhance the stories, especially in Bloodbound. So at least there’s that. But again, mad props to BB’s writers. It’s super addicting but the only thing that bothers me is the diamonds. Yes I understand that diamonds can and SHOULD get you clothes but I just don’t like that sometimes you have to use diamonds for your choices. The stories always have the choice if you want romance in your book with your choices or not. They will give you the option if you want to flirt with someone and usually if you do your relationship would change. \n The outfits are also amazing. But I think you could lower the price on them a bit because that takes me days of trying to collect 25 diamonds for an outfit that I love. I have played and deleted this game over and over and over again. This game is almost better then Tic Tok. Reason I deleted this game is because of the addiction. It also makes you read which is great especially since kids don’t go to school on the weekends.
