When I went to use it I went straight into MY Card which shows the barcode as this is what they need to scan. The fuel lock should have been valid for 2 more days yet it had dropped off. Like it does when it’s been used. I contacted 7Eleven by phone. Lodged the incident with in the App as advised. The email response was that they couldn’t see that I had locked it in. So even though I had explained I definitely did they really didn’t listen or care. Then I called again and they said I had only been using the App for 3 months. Which again was totally not accurate. So it seems the App has multiple issues!! And they aren’t taking responsibility for it. There is also no way to relock the fuel price, meaning if you lock it and then the price drops in your area, you are stuck locked in with the higher price for seven days. The app used to have no cap and was very helpful, not really anymore. There is now also a limit on the amount of fuel you can buy (100 litres).\n\nLast month I locked in at $2/litre. When petrol rose to $2.50/litre they refused to honour the price and offered a 25 cent discount only instead. Then this week I locked in at $2.59, only to have petrol drop to $2.29. I am now stuck locked in at the $2.59 price even though everywhere it is $2.29. It does not let you re-lock and makes you stuck with the higher price for seven days.\n\nThe app is only good if you want to *occasionally* save 25 cents on a 7/11 trip. This means on a purchase of 50 litres of fuel you will save just twelve dollars. Most of the time it&#39;s hardly worth the headache as you will need to battle with the lock in system through the app and usually other service stations are cheaper anyway, even without the lock. No way to re-lock","country":"AU","tags":["pricing","feature_requests","service"],"review_id":13912443090},{"content":"I love this app - I can’t see how anyone can lose by using it !\nHaving read some of the reviews it’s pretty clear people don’t know how this app works and aren’t taking advantage of the great savings.\nHere’s how I us the app.\nAs I have two cars I set up a second account in my wife’s name - that way I can lock in low prices a couple of days apart and take advantage of lower prices for longer than seven days.\nI also search nearby stations using the store locator that are outside my 5klm area, but on my regular routes, and lock in cheaper prices when I’m within those areas. \nI also worked out that if I drive just up the road from my local servo I get a different set of stations and one of them nearly always has THE best prices - so I lock in there and then. Have a play - you will achieve great savings !\nIt’s not for everyone but, I opted to purchase two gift cards and redeemed them to my accounts then pay by credit card at fill up. That way I always have credit on the accounts.\nIf you see a price that is lower than your voucher price you simply don’t use the voucher - you only ever buy fuel at the lower price.\nIt’s easy for a novice user to make a mistake and lock in a voucher for less fuel than you want (like I did). In that case simply buy 2 liters of fuel to use that voucher (you will only ever pay the cheaper price) and then lock in a new voucher.\nShame it still doesn’t work on iPhone 8+
