At first, everything was perfect, I didn’t use my account often but it was perfect for that Disney fix! One day after not using it for a while I went of to find that I couldn’t log in, they had removed the option to log in via Facebook and there was no way to access my account to even cancel the payment. I was being charged monthly for an account I couldn’t access! Phoned up customer service and it took them a while to fix my problem which ended in me getting very frustrated. Created a new account through iTunes and was fine for a while. Went to log on again and it’s putting me back and forth saying I’m already subscribed then back to the login page. I cannot create a new account as my email is linked to my iTunes and just constantly tells me that I’m already subscribed but when I try to do anything I cannot get in. \n\nI have wasted too much time, effort and money on this now. I’m sick fed up of paying for a monthly subscription to something that I can never access. It’s shocking how poor the entire idea is. If this gets fixed then DisneyLife will be fantastic for the kids and adults that love the Magic of Disney. However from what I’ve put up with for over a year now it’s just not worth it. I’ve simply subscribed again to this service via my iTunes login yesterday. I went into settings and subscriptions, then resubscribed to Disneylife where payment of £4.99 was deducted from my credit balance, telling me it was active until December. Every time I log in to the app by restoring purchase with my app on Apple TV, iPhone XR and iPad Pro it tells me, ‘hmm, no valid account, please resubscribe.’ I click that option, and an iTunes message pops up to say I’m already subscribing. Still can’t log in. Disneylife is apparently migrating accounts to Disney plus and if this is the quality of app service already on offer it really deters me from subscribing to the new service in March, if the company can’t make a simply app and resubscription process of logging in. I’ve lost £4.99 and my sanity of trying and failing multiple times to log into an account which should be a simple process. When people say Disney is a Netflix killer I laugh. It may have the decades worth of content and new series but compared to Netflix as a service it is completely mediocre and ancient. I absolutely love Disney, so I was determined to make this work. I started off with not being able to make an account and log in. After sending off a few emails (which was also sent to the wrong Disney department since I had no idea who to contact), I was logged in and subscribed. I was logged into the page on my laptop and phone for a month or so, and then I was auto logged out and ever since, I havent been able to log back in. Now when I tried, it said «you are currently subscribed. Your next payment is 10th of May», then it logged me out again. Its been like this a few times when trying to log in, so now I just gave up since I once again dont know who to contact - email, live chat or call. I give up. Last time it worked was in December. It wasted my money. I hope I dont get the same app store issue as someone else had with payments that I read in a review here. \n\nIf you get the app, subscription and everything to work, its totally worth it ❤️ if not, dont waste your time and money on it.
