This exacerbates the biggest issue with this design. You can't change the direction of shots. In some instances, the enemies do not coniue off screen or return to the shootable area. This leaves the player having to ram the ship into those enemies to be able to inflict damage. I have played this a bunch recently and it never fails to impress me. my main problem is that when you die, you lose your upgrades and while this doesn't sound too bad, late game it is very frustrating if you main one tank. it means you have to replay a level like three times. also, the upgrades are completely random with no way of being able to choose.
