But for new players, let's do the math where I am, which is about halfway through the evolution tree: If I want to advance past the Social Boy, I need to merge 65,536 (2^16) Monkeys. At 3 seconds per egg (maxed out), that will take 54 HOURS of devoted playtime. This is not a good sign for the game. I'm hoping to play until I unlock the second planet - maybe there's some better gameplay hiding there - but I'm not hopeful and I don't know if I have the energy to get there. The upgrade cycle started out OK, but when the \"egg\" couldn't advance past Monkey, I knew that was a sign of trouble.
