I went to delhi and booked room from oyo , oyo was showing me 700 rs per night I booked the room and paid in advance but when I visited hotel but the manager denied me to allow the room and said there is no any policy. We don’t give any room under 1200 rs. I requested many times that I booked it from oyo she was not ready to listen at any cost. Then i called costumer care number they were bzy they received my call after half an hour and they didn’t solve my problem i had to wait at least 3 hour but they did nothing to me. After all this thing i talked to hotel manager he provide the room without oyo booking and charge 1200 RS …since the day I decided I would never use this app again and Never suggested anyone about this app.. this incident occurred in 2019.. and the same incident occurred right before my eyes in 2022. I requested for an early morning checkin as I was landing early and when I landed I opened the app to get the directions and it mentioned that my booking was cancelled. It was cancelled without my knowledge and I didn’t receive any notification or an email regarding this. I don’t know who cancelled the booking is it the hotel or the OYO service but I was stranded in a new city without a place to go. So I tried my luck again and used OYO app to check if there were any hotels available for an early morning checkin and the OYO app showed me that the very hotel which I booked earlier is available for checkin and this time I made sure I paid and I received the confirmation email and the app showed that my booking was confirmed as well. I felt relieved and booked a cab to the hotel and upon my arrival when I showed my booking confirmation the hotel representative told me that they are 100% booked and he can’t accommodate me. Then why the HELL OYO app allowed me book it in the first place. Then after a long battle with the OYO customer care I was given another booking with another OYO hotel which was 10 mins away. As I was alone and young it wasn’t a big deal for me to go to another hotel and stay there. But for people who arrive with their families or for older people it would have been quite difficult for them to go through this hassle.
